Special Mobility history
Special mobility was founded in 2012 in the Netherlands. The development and manufacturing of Mobby, the tradename for Special Mobility’s products, started in cooperation with Amsterdam Schiphol and Brussels Airport. Listening closely to the market and potential customers and the rising demand for a durable PRM transport chair we produced the first Mobby and its patented linking system. A few years further down the road Special Mobility has developed into a leading provider for these 3 sectors, the Airports, hospitals and leisure. We now offer a wide range of products and accessories for customers around the world

The Mobby 1.0 was our first model , however we’ve updated to the Mobby 1.1 with our latest braking system that’s also used on the Mobby2. There are no further changes in comparison with the older Mobby and the Mobby 1.1 is fully compatible with the older Mobby
